TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. SECURING YOUR BOOKING 

The booking of services for your event is only reserved once the client has paid the non-refundable booking deposit of 10/25/50% (dependent on service selected) of the desired service. 

Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist's services for the event day. 

  

2. PAYMENT & DEPOSITS 

Payments can be made via bank transfer, once your appointment date is confirmed by the Artist. 

The non-refundable deposit paid by the client to reserve the event date will be deducted from the final balance due.  

All booking deposits are non-refundable (unless the circumstances meet the clauses of section 7. 'Refunds' below)

  

3. WEDDING PAYMENTS 

Wedding trials 

If you have booked a Wedding trial in advance of your Wedding day this can be paid prior to the trial or via cash on the day of the trial (pandemic dependent). There is no deposit required for Wedding trials unless advised by the artist in advance. 

Wedding Day & Bookings

For weddings on peak days (Friday-Sunday) booking fees start at a minimum rate of £300.00 per wedding date.

Payment remaining post deposit for Wedding events is to paid in full by the client before the event, no later than 7 days before. 

Failure to pay the remaining balance within the stated time may result in the Wedding date being released. However, the Makeup Artist will make a full attempt to contact the client before this end result occurs. 

Should this arise, no compensation will be offered to the client by the Makeup Artist for this.  

 

4. SURCHARGES 

If your event falls on a Sunday or Bank Holiday a £25 surcharge will apply.  

Surcharges may also be applicable dependent on your event location in order to cover travel costs.  

A specific travel surcharge may be provided to you within your quote based on your event location.

 

If your event requires the artist to depart their base location any earlier than 3:30am, a surcharge fee of £50 may be applied in order to accommodate for overnight stay at a nearby location the night prior to your event. 

  

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY 

The client should inform the makeup artist of all problems or issues that may affect the equipment or products.  

This includes (but is not limited to) sensitivity, skin conditions, allergies, viruses and medical conditions. 

The client will be asked upon the first meeting to detail (but not limited to) any allergies, skin conditions or medical conditions they deem relevant. Upon signing this form, the client accepts full responsibility of any and all problems that result from the negligence to inform the makeup artist. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any consequences that result due to the client's failure to inform them of any known condition or issue.  

Whilst the makeup artist will take full precautions and measures by using appropriate products (if the client expresses any allergies, skin conditions or medical conditions) - The makeup artist is not liable for any problems that may arise, as a result of the client using the makeup services. By signing the client responsibility form and proceeding with your makeup appointment, you accept these terms. 

The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the client's party that (but is not limited to) display any infectious conditions or abusive/threatening behaviour. 

  

6. CANCELLATIONS 

The client can at any point in writing cancel their booking reservation.  

The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money (including booking deposits) paid up until the point of cancellation, however, the client will be liable for no further payments.  

The client can cancel their makeup booking at any point, up to 48 hours before the agreed date. However, a cancellation fee may apply if the booking is cancelled after the 48 hour deadline.  

 

7. REFUNDS 

In the unlikely circumstance that a cancellation is made by the makeup artist (I.e. due to illness), a full refund (including the non-refundable deposit) will be given to the client, along with recommendations of other local commendable Artists, where possible.  

The makeup artist will also offer a goodwill makeup appointment (not including wedding event services) free of charge to the client affected.  

No other compensation will be given to the client. All refunds will be processed at the discretion of the Artist.  

 

8. ACT OF GOD AND/OR PANDEMIC 

In the unlikely circumstance that a cancellation is made by the makeup artist due to an Act of God (I.e. extreme, unforeseen weather or incident) or pandemic circumstance (I.e. Coronavirus-19) which means the artist either cannot perform or carry out the intended services, the client will be able to transfer any booking deposits to alternate event date (where possible).  

The artist will not process refunds of any booking deposits in circumstances outside of both parties control (I.e. Governmental restrictions imposed due to a pandemic circumstance) if the Artist cannot accommodate the alternate date. 

 

9. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY 

The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography or videography for publicity purposes which include (but are not limited to) the makeup artist's website, portfolio and social media channels. 

If you wish for any photography/videography taken at past events to be taken down from any social media channels or websites of the makeup artist, we will be happy to do so at the request of a written email. 

 

By confirming your makeup appointment via bank transfer/deposit you agree to the above terms and conditions.
